Common questions
What is the maximum size?
Up to 25.6 cm per side (256 × 256 × 256 mm). The preview tells you right away if your part fits the plate.
What precision and layer height?
0.2 mm layers with a 0.4 mm nozzle. It is the standard setting and suits most parts. Need finer? Write to us before you order.
What infill and how many walls?
2 walls and 33% infill. Your price uses these settings. For a part that takes load, write to us: we can adjust.
PLA or PETG, which one?
PLA: stiff, clean finish, great indoors. PETG: tougher against impact, heat, and outdoor use. When in doubt, pick PLA.
What if my part breaks or does not fit?
If you are not satisfied, we reprint or refund, up to 30 days after receipt. Write to us with a photo.
How does pickup work?
In Chambly, by appointment, evenings and weekends. We send the exact address when we confirm. Quebec shipping is coming soon.
How do I pay?
Nothing is charged online. You pay at pickup, with your part in hand. We confirm the details by email with the date.
What happens to my file?
Your file stays private. PieceDrop does not publish it. We keep it while we print your part and remove it 30 days after you receive it, or 30 days after you send it if we do not print.
I am in a hurry. Can you do it?
Write to us before you order. We will tell you right away if we can go faster.
Do you do 3D design?
Not for now. We print from your file only.
What we do not print
- We do not print medical parts or parts someone's safety depends on.
- We do not print protected logos or characters without permission.
- If your file has a problem, we tell you before printing. You pay nothing.
